(Tuscaloosa, AL) The Alabama Crimson Tide faces its second top 10 opponent of the 2008 season on Saturday night when they face the third-rank Georgia Bulldogs at Sanford Stadium.
Alabama (4-0, 1-0 SEC) is looking to stay undefeated after crushing the Arkansas Razorbacks 49-14 on road this past Saturday. Georgia (4-0, 1-0 SEC) is coming off a huge win at Arizona State and is also riding a four game win streak.
Alabama leads the Georgia series 35-25-4, including an 11-7 edge for the Crimson Tide in Athens. UA’s last win in Athens came in 1995 with a 31-0 victory. The Bulldogs have won three straight in the series. Georgia pulled out a 26-23 overtime win at Bryant-Denny Stadium last year. The Georgia series is the third-oldest in Alabama history, dating back to 1895.
Kickoff is slated for 6:45 p.m. on ESPN.
