STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Mississippi State University says coach
Rick Stansbury has signed a new four-year contract.

The 48-year-old Stansbury has posted a 208-115 record in 10
seasons at Mississippi State. He came to the university in 1990 as
an assistant coach.

Stansbury's $225,000 base salary was disclosed, but not the
Bulldog Foundation supplement. The contract, though the 2011-12
season, is the maximum allowable under state law. It must be
approved by the state College Board.

Stansbury made $965,850 in the 2006-07 fiscal year, the last
year for which such figures are available. His salary is heavily
supplemented by the Bulldog Foundation, which is not required to
disclose salary information because it is a private organization.
