A man wanted for Capital Murder in Walker County is now on his way back to Alabama, after being captured in Georgia.
Walker County Sheriff John Mark Tirey tells NBC13HD News that Michael Lynn Sherer was caught by police in Hampton, GA Thursday afternoon, September 2, 2010.
Sherer was wanted as a suspect in the shooting death of his uncle, Thomas Lynn Smith, 56, on August 21, 2010.
