BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- The commander of the state's Illegal Gambling Task Force said Friday's Alabama Supreme Court puts them closer to taking action against Victoryland.
The court refused to reconsider their July 30 ruling against Tallapoosa County Judge Tom Young's injunction against the task force.
Tyson claimed the ruling ends the injunction that should have never been put in place in the beginning.
Victoryland attorney Mark White said the ruling was not a surprise and Tyson still needs a search warrant to seize bingo machines since the casino is closed.
