BIRMINGHAM — Today the United Way of Central Alabama announced its new fundraising goals for 2010.
The non-profit organization held its annual campaign luncheon at the Sheraton in Birmingham.
This year, the group aims to raise more than $37.2 million for agencies in Jefferson, Shelby, Walkerm, Saint Clair, and Blount counties.
United Way officials say the need for help is great in our area and they want to shine a light on that need.
