TUSCALOOSA, Ala-- The University of Alabama expects more than 130,000 people to descend on campus this weekend as the University christens the newly expanded Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Renovations to the stadium's south end zone seating were completed over the summer, bringing the new capacity to more than 101,000 fans.
UA Gameday Operations staff memeber Gina Johnson says fans should consult with the Gameday website to plan where they will park and to monitor road closures around campus.
The university has identified about 2,000 new parking spaces fans can use, including 450 at the new parking garage behind Tuscaloosa City Hall.
Alabama kicks off against San Jose State Saturday night at 6:00.
