BIRMINGHAM — Some high school dropouts are signing up with a special "dropout program," to get their diplomas.
This, despite controversy surrounding the group operating that dropout program.
In less than five days the "excelsior program" will open its doors to former Birmingham City School students.
But, the group's CEO is taking some heat from his former employer.
