BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- Deputy Jefferson County Coroner Pat Curry said Wednesday that it could take several days to determine how a Mountain Brook attorney died.
Thomas Major Bashinsky's body was floating in a pond at the Highland Golf Club Monday.
Mountain Brook Police Chief Johnny Stanley said Bashinsky was not found in a bag, contrary to earlier reports.
He also said the body was not bound or weighted down.
Curry said it would be Friday, at the earliest, before they know Bashinsky's cause of death, if not some time next week.
Bashinsky disappeared exactly two weeks ago.
