Birmingham P.D. investigating city's 6th homicide

BIRMINGHAM, AL- The Birmingham Police Dept. is investigating the city's 6th homicide of the year.

It occurred on Tuesday, March 16th at approximately 10:40 p.m., at 1525 18th Street Ensley.

The victim has been identified as Terrez Watkins, 29, of Birmingham.

Officers from the West Precinct responded to the incident location to investigate a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim, lying in the parking lot of the apartment complex, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

There have been no arrests or charges filed in the case.
