Tuscaloosa Police Department has responded to a Theft in the 1st Degree and a Robbery call at Sonic in the 4500 Block of E McFarland Blvd. Investigators need the public’s help to try to identify the two people of interest.
The Theft in the 1st Degree occurred on March 7th 2010 at 9:20 pm. An employee took the suspect his order and the suspect reached in the victims pocket and took money from him. The suspects then fled the scene.
The Robbery occurred on March 8th 2010 at 7:58 pm. An employee took the suspect his order and after paying for the order the suspect snatched the employee’s apron. The employee grabbed his apron and the suspect pulled out a knife and swung it at the employee cutting his right index finger. The suspect fled the scene.
Investigators have obtained photo images of two people of interest, but need help identifying them. If anybody knows the identity of either individual please call the Tuscaloosa Police Department Criminal Investigation Division at 205-248-4520 or Crime Stoppers at 205-752-STOP and if your tip leads to an arrest you could be eligible for a cash reward. Sgt. Jenkins and Inv. Holland are working the case.
