BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - A reunion of two men who were part of an unusual episode during the Korean War is taking place in Alabama.

A one-time North Korean pilot will be in Birmingham on Wednesday for the opening of a new exhibit at the Southern Museum of Flight.

That pilot, No Kum Sok, defected in 1953 and delivered a then state-of-the-art MiG-15 jet fighter into American hands.

Also on hand for the event will be Alabama military veteran Tom Feltman, who was one of the few Americans to witness the defection at Kimpo Air Force Base in South Korea.

The North Korean pilot settled in the U.S. and now goes by the name Kenneth Rowe.
