PANAMA CITY, Fla. — 9 year old Jada Grier from Birmingham has died in a Panama City Beach hospital after being pulled from the Gulf of Mexico.
Grier was vacationing with a youth group from the Birmingham area.
Witnesses say she became distressed while swimming in waters near the Paradise Palms hotel and was unconscious when pulled from the water.
