Closed Friday

Birmingham Southern College:
Closing at 12 p.m. Thursday.

Faulkner University Birmingham Campus:
Closing at 3pm Thursday. Closed Friday.

Herzing College:
Closed Friday.

Jefferson State locations:
Closed this Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Lawson State Community College:
will delay opening until 10 a.m. Friday.

Miles College:
Closed Thursday.

Samford University:
Closing at 12 p.m. Thursday.

Southern Union State Community College:
Closing at 1 p.m. Thursday.

Strayer University:
Closed Friday.

University of Alabama:
The University of Alabama will not close on Thursday; however, non-essential personnel should not report to work on that day. Supervisors will contact employees who are expected to report to work.
The University Medical Center will be closed on Thursday.
The UA Student Tailgate Party on Thursday evening will still happen as planned. The University's normal operations are expected to resume on Friday, Jan. 8.

University of Montevallo:
Closed Thursday.

Wallace State Community College in Hanceville:
Closed Friday.

Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind:

WEEKLY buses WILL RUN ON WEDNESDAY – no Friday routes.
NO AREA DAILY BUSES on Thursday or Friday.
LOCAL DAILY BUSES in Talladega only will run normal schedule on Thursday morning.
Decision will be made later regarding Thursday PM and Friday buses.
The Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind is a residential facility and campus programs will continue to operate.
