Birmingham Police indentify victim of 3rd murder of the year

This case is still under investigation and no arrests have been made.

From Birmingham Police News Release:
The Birmingham Police Department reports today that the victim in homicide #3 of 2010 has been identified.

The victim has been identified as:
Steve Hilson, 25, of Westmoreland Drive, Fairfield, Alabama.

This case is still under investigation. No arrests have been made in this case.

Officers from the West Precinct responded to the 1800 block of Princeton Court to investigate a report of a deceased person. Upon arrival, officers located the victim lying in the roadway suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue arrived and pronounced the victim deceased.
