Police officers were called to Wenonah High School today to investigate a stabbing.
The Birmingham School System tells NBC13HD News the incident involved an ongoing feud between 2 female students.
The mother of one student came to school today and entered a classroom.
School administrators were in the process of taking the parent and other people into a room to discuss the issue.
One of the students "pushed or kicked" the other, when that student stabbed the mother in the head with a pen.
Paramedics were called and treated the mother on the scene.
A total of 6 people were arrested. The woman was arrested and charged with trespassing. The student was arrested and charged with assault.
The other people involved were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
