HOMEWOOD, Ala-- Former Auburn Coach Pat Dye, along with a couple of former players, signed copies of the new book "What it means to be a Tiger" Tuesday night in Homewood.
The book, authored by Ray Glier, is a collection of first-person essays from great Auburn players and coaches over the past 50 years, including Dye.
The College Football Hall of Famer said in a brief interview that he thinks this year's Tigers team will be improved over last year. Dye endorsed the efforts of second-year-coach Gene Chizik.
To Dye, two main question marks are how Cam Newton responds to being named the starting quarterback and how the Auburn defense improves over last year.
