The Alabama State Troopers are investigating a crash in which one person died, and several children were injured.
The wreck happened August 21, 2010, about 2:40pm, on Highway 431, three miles south of Boaz.
A Ford Explorer collided with a Honda Civic.
The driver in the Civic, Charlene Lowery, 47, of Gadsden, was killed.
The adult driver in the Explorer was not hurt, but three children inside that vehicle were injured, and they were transported to a hospital.
