Flood waters remain in Bibb County, and more rain is expected.
The Bibb County EMA says the Cahaba River remains about 2 feet above flood stage Tuesday, September 22, 2009.
Several roads remain closed, including Deer Creek Road, Stallings Road, and Coppers Crossing.
However, flood waters have receeded along State Road 219, located south of Centerville, allowing officials to reopen the highway to traffic.
No further evacuations of residents were necessary today.
