There are reports of a person shot in the Woodlawn area of Birmingham.

The dispatch call went out just before 11:30am CT today to 45th Street and 9th Court North.

A police spokesman says an Alagasco employee was being robbed, when the employee was shot.

NBC13HD News crews are on the scene gathering more information now.
