A small earthquake was registered in northeast Alabama today.
According to the United States Geological Survey website, the quake registered a 1.4 in magnitude.
It happened just before 4:00am CT Monday, November 16, 2009, and was located 5 miles from Fort Payne.
No reports of damage have been reported.
