Young people from Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas are in Birmingham through the World Changers program.
They will work on eight houses in the Dolomite and Wylam communities from Tuesday, March 17, 2009 through Friday, March 20, 2009.
The Birmingham Baptist Association and its Metro Changers community service agency are helping with grants to buy construction materials, and to provide meals to those volunteers.
