Police in Tampa, Florida discovered an elaborate underground pot farm recently.
It was set up inside an old army ammunition dump and police say it's unlike anything they've found before.
From above ground, this is what you see.
A newer-looking woodshed in the backyard of this Drew Park neighborhood house.
But travel through the false bottom of in the floor, and through a 3x3 passageway, and police found a 2,000 square foot, underground pot-growing room, complete with ventilation, hydroponics watering system, lights for growing, soil, and tools.
Captain George McNamara of the Tampa Police Department said "there were circuit boards down there, there was a 5 ton air conditioner down there, so all of our jaws kind of dropped, like wow!"
Police say 37-year-old Gustavo Gonzalez, a Cuban national, is the person behind this bunker pot farm.
They say he's lived here for 4 years.
A check of the history books shows why this bunker is here.
This area used to be home to the Drew Army Municipal Airport and was a training base for recruits.
It's modern-day incarnation has seasoned law enforcement veterans, stunned.
Captain McNamara said "seen all types of things in my career so far but I'll tell you this is one of the ones that I'll certainly remember. Just the elaborate scheme that was set up."
Police say Gonzalez powered his set-up by stealing juice from TECO and installing cables underground.
Some of the work, very well done.
Captain McNamara said "we were alarmed at what we found is a way to put this. Very elaborate scheming. To take apart some of the materials they took apart and to re-build them underground, they had no idea we were coming but we'll take an and all help that we can get."
Police now wonder if there are other underground bunkers out here, and if others are using them to grow weed.
Captain McNamara said "the person that set this up they spent hours and hours and hours and hours. Very elaborate, I keep using the word elaborate, it's amazing."
Police say the street value of the 66 plants found is about $230,000.
Gustavo Gonzalez is currently out of jail in bond.
