Another major storm is pounding the Pacific Northwest causing flooding, mudslides, and avalanche danger.
Parts of the Northwest are already saturated from weeks of heavy rain and snow melt.
Flood warnings and watches for much of Washington and northwest Oregon, as high water shut down major highways, washed-out rural roads, and damaged homes.
Evacuations were ordered for a number of towns where the water rose quickly.
In Orting, Washington, at least three people stranded in the flood were rescued by boat.
Emergency crews checked other homes for people who might be trapped.
Resident Dawn Galloway says "this is just crazy, I'm a city girl. We just moved here, not even a year ago."
The relentless rain caused rivers to spill over their banks.
Neighbors used sandbags to try and hold back the water.
Communities like Fall City, Washington, reported the worst flooding in 20 years.
Along of the Oregon coast more flooding. Close to eight inches of rain fell in some areas.
With soil saturated by melting snow and rain over the past two weeks, this latest storm added to the threat of mudslides.
After this round of rain, forecasters say the region should begin to dry out by Friday.
