BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Forecasters say central Alabama could get an early-season dusting of snow on Friday night.
The National Weather Service says small accumulations of snow are possible north of Interstate 85 and south of Interstate 20/59 from late Friday through Saturday morning.
More snow could fall in elevated areas, but forecasters say it shouldn't be enough to cause travel problems since the ground is so warm.
The weather service says snow is possible across most of Alabama except the coast.
