One lane is now open at a section of Interstate 20/59 near Tuscaloosa that was closed earlier due to a tractor trailer truck wreck.
The Alabama State Troopers say the accident is on I-20/59 at Exit 79, in the traffic lanes heading towards Birmingham.
The double trailer truck crashed Wednesday morning, and there appears to be hazardous materials on that truck.
The driver has been injured.
Troopers advise travellers to use Highway 216 or Highway 11 to continue towards Birmingham.
