Adamsville man accused of cooking meth in neighborhood

A man has been charged for allegedly cooking meth in a backshed in Adamsville.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit responded to the 3000 block of Higgins Road in Adamsville after several complaints of someone possibly “cooking meth” at this location.
Deputies found an active cook commonly called a “1 pot” method.
Deputies also discovered other evidence of prior and possible future manufacturing of methamphetamine was seized that had the potential to cook up several pounds of methamphetamine.
Richard Webb admitted to cooking this Methamphetamine in a back shed.
Richard Neil Webb, 39, of Adamsville, remains in the Jefferson County Jail for Unlawful Manufacturing of Methamphetamine.
