BRIGHTON, Ala. --- The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is investigating a murder committed at Bessemer Superhighway mobile home park around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office confirms the victim is 24 year old Jose Juan Garcia-Huerta, a resident of the mobile home park.
The exact cause of death is not being released.
Despite the fact the crime was committed inside the city limits of Brighton, the police department there tells NBC13 HD that the Sheriff's Office is heading up the investigation.
