JASPER, Ala. (AP) - Walker County authorities say an Empire man was shot to death at a residence in an argument over a popular video game.
Sheriff John Mark Tirey says 38-year-old Michael Alan Dean died Saturday morning from a single gunshot wound to his chest after being shot during an argument over a PlayStation Portable.
Deputies are searching for Dean's ex-brother-law, 33-year-old Chris Dewayne Williams Sr., also in Empire, who fled after the shooting.
The first of two 911 calls about the shooting came from a child.
Dean was pronounced dead at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
