A week-long investigation has ended in the arrests of four people, and the discovery of hundreds of pounds of marijuana.
The Calhoun/Cleburne County Drug and Violence Crime Task Force issued a news release, detailing the investigation, which occurred from September 1, 2008 through September 5, 2008.
The operation led to the seizure of about 685 pounds of pot, and the arrests of 4 people.
The marijuana was found in a truck near Piedmont.
The four suspects are identified as:
Jose Raul Escamilla-Canales, 38
Luis Bonifacio Aguilera, 33
Armando Martinez Montanez, 43
Lyle Kennard Burns, 51
All suspects are being held in the Calhoun County Jail.
