BIRMINGHAM-The Emergency Management Association has asked that all donations of supplies be taken to local the Salvation Army Command Center, not to the actual shelters.

Monetary donations can be made online at www.redcross.org or www.birminghamredcross.org.
All toys and children’s clothing items can be taken to the Mayor’s Office of Division of Youth Services located at 808 18th Street North (next Municipal Court). Staff will be on hand until 8:00 p.m. to receive these donations. For more information, contact DYS Executive Director Cedric Sparks at 492-9793.
