A man recently released from prison is suspected in a Birmingham homicide case.
In a news release from the Birmingham Police Department, Antonio Spencer, 21, of Birmingham, is charged with Capital Murder in the death of Demarcus Ferrell, 19, of Birmingham.
Ferrell was killed October 1, 2008, in the 1800 block of 19th Avenue North.
Police Chief A.C. Roper says the suspect was released from prison only one month ago.
Spencer remains in the Jefferson County Jail, under no bond.
