Police in Oxford are looking for the person who shot and killed a store clerk during a robbery.
It happened November 28, 2008, about 12:48 a.m. at the Pak - A- Sak located at 1051 East. Hamric Dr.
The clerk was identified as 27 year old Sean Adam Cook of Oxford.
The suspect was an unknown white male who entered the convenience store and carried on what appeared to be a casual conversation with the clerk before he produced a firearm which he used to shoot the clerk.
There were no signs of any struggle or physical confrontation between the clerk or the suspect.
Suspect appeared to be in his early to late 20's, approx. 5' 10" to 6' 00" tall, around 150 lbs to 170 lbs., dark hair, light complexion and was wearing the following clothing:
Black ball cap, red fleece or pull over type jacket with red and black sleeves and khaki cargo pants.
Anyone with information on the suspect is urged to contact the Oxford Police Department at (256) 831-3121 or the Investigations Division at (256) 835-6136 reference case number 0811-0330.
Suspect should be considered armed and extremely dangerous and should not be approached by anyone other than law enforcement.
