The Alabama Department of Transportation will continue with asphalt pavement patching on I-65 this week.
In a news release, the work is on Interstate 65 both northbound and southbound, from the Mt Olive exit, to the Highway 31 exit in Fultondale.
At least one lane will be closed, while repairs are done.
Workers will start in the southbound lanes first.
Repairs will take about two weeks to complete.
ALDOT urges motorists to slow down, and use extreme caution in this area.
