Children’s Hospital received a $25 million dollar pledge to kick off a new fund drive. Given by Ben and Luanne Russell, it is the largest single donation ever given to Children’s Hospital.
The announcement came today as the start to the $100 million dollar “Keeping Promises” campaign.
The new facility will be located at the downtown Birmingham campus and will be named for Mr. Russell’s grandfather, Benjamin Russell.
