Alabama’s only theme park said Thursday that it is hoping for record attendance this summer despite record high fuel and grocery costs.
Alabama Adventure opened its summer season Thursday.
Park managers believe high consumer costs will keep more families closer to home this summer, and that could make for more trips to local tourism spots like Alabama Adventure.
Predicted attendance for the park through August is five hundred thousand.
