A pharmacist has been arrested in an alleged drugs for sex scheme.
According to a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department news release, Robert Allen Jones, 33, of Birmingham, is being investigated for allegedly diverting controlled substances from a pharmacy in exchange for sex with females looking for illegal drugs.
Narcotics agents from the Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at H&J Pharmacy in Pinson this morning.
Jones is charged with distribution of a controlled substance, and attempted distribution of a controlled substance.
