United States Marshals arrested a fugitive today, wanted on outstanding state and federal charges.
According to a news release from the U.S. Marshals Office, Charles Cleveland Wallace was found hiding in the attic of his girlfriend’s home in Birmingham.
After partially falling through the ceiling, Wallace was talked into coming out.
Two firearms, ammunition, electronic scales, drug paraphernalia and controlled substances were recovered from the residence.
Wallace faces federal drug charges, and various state charges, including a charge of murder in Jefferson County.
