MARIETTA, Ohio (AP) - The Ohio State Highway Patrol said today a husband and wife from Alabama were the victims of a small plane crash in southeast Ohio.
The patrol post said 65-year-old Phillip B. Clemmons was piloting the plane, and his wife, 64-year-old Patricia Clemmons was a passenger. The two, both of Cullman, died when their B35 Bonanza crashed yesterday in a remote wooded area of Morgan County.
A spokesman said a dispatcher received a phone call about 1:35 p.m. yesterday asking for help locating the plane. The fuselage and one wing were found late Monday afternoon.
The patrol had no details on the crash. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board were investigating.
