Trimble, Ala---Storm damage in the city of Trimble destroyed homes, downed power lines and crushed roofs. A tree fell into Becky Johnson's vacation trailer off of Lake Smith. "You see this on TV but it doesn’t hit you until it's this close to home," Johnson said. Businesses were not spared either. The Best Way Rental store's roof collapsed. Lowe's Home Improvement off of Highway 69 had to close its garden center because of damage. While no injuries were reported, there is widespread damage in Cullman as well as power outages. Debris clean-up began Thursday. Home and business owners say the road to recovery will be a long one.
