A Tennessee man is considered armed and dangerous after shooting two Tennessee police officers early this morning, killing one.
At approximately 3 a.m., Kermit Eugene Bryson shot to death a Grundy County Sheriff's Office Deputy and wounded a Monteagle Police Officer while they were attempting to serve a warrant. Bryson left the scene on foot wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
Bryson has been added to the TBI's Top 10 Most Wanted Fugitives and a $1,000 reward is offered for information leading to his arrest.
More than 50 digital billboards in four states are up along Interstates 40, 24, 75, 81 and 59 and alerting the public to this case and asking them to call the TBI (800-TBI-FIND).
