Two Former Deputies Arrested

Two former deputies from Winston County face multiple charges including vehicular assault and driving under the influence.
According to a news release from the Alabama Attorney General’s office, Nathan Preston, 27, a former deputy, and William Harvey Wickwire, 33, a former deputy, each surrendered at the Winston County Jail Tuesday night.
Preston is charged with first-degree assault by causing serious injury to a person while driving under the influence, third-degree assault, reckless driving, DUI, and contributing to the delinquency of a child.
Wickwire is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a child.
Both were released from jail on $25,000 bond.
