Tree Limb Kills Walker County Man

CULLMAN, Ala. (AP) -- A tree limb killed a Walker County man in a wooded area of rural Cullman County.


Cullman County Coroner Gary Murphree identified the victim as 49-year-old Donald Ray Terry. His hometown was unavailable.


Authorities said the accident happened just before 11 a.m. Tuesday, not far from County Road 576.


Murphree said Terry was cutting timber with his son and brother when he was struck in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
