MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) -- Former Alabama Republican Party chairman Twinkle Andress Cavanaugh has taken a strong early lead in the Republican primary for PSC president.
But it's still not clear if she will be able to win without a runoff Tuesday to face former Lt. Gov. Lucy Baxley in the general election.
Retired PSC employee Jack Hornady was in second place and communications and marketing professional Matt Chancey was in third.
