A bullet hits a polling place today with people inside.
It happened just after 3:30pm, at the Irondale Senior Citizens Center on Beacon Drive.
A person at the facility says a gunshot was fired from nearby, and struck a window at the polling place.
Luckily, no one was injured.
Irondale Police officers concluded their investigation at the scene before 6:30pm.
A Jefferson County deputy remains on site.
