Storms Causing Problems in Talladega County

There is some reports of flooding and trees down in some areas of Talladega County.

There are reports of some storm-related issues happening in Talladega County.
According to Talladega County EMA spokesperson Kevin Jenkins, there have been lightning strikes in the Childersburg and Sylacauga areas.
A Jamison Inn on Highway 280 in Sylacauga was struck by lightning, but caused no fire.
However, a lightning strike did cause fires to a house and a barn on Old Sylacauga Highway in Childersburg.
Trees are reported down in Sylacauga, including some flooding on Broadway Avenue in Sylacauga.
There is a power outage on Highway 280 in the Oak Grove community.
