Sheriffs Department PIO Randy Christian said deputies responded to a call of a body in the Warrior River about 1:15 p.m. The call came from a home near the river in the 500 block of Yellow Creek Rd near the Jefferson/Tuscaloosa County Line.
The body of a male was recovered and pronounced dead at the scene. No identification has been made and there is no reason to suspect foul play at this time. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
