A boy is receiving medical treatment right now after being shot at a Birmingham city pool.
It happened just after 2 p.m. Wednesday, at 2710 Shuttlesworth Drive.
Police on the scene tell NBC13HD crews that an 11-year-old boy was hit in the hand by a bullet.
The boy was taken to Children's Hospital by his father.
Police describe the incident as a drive-by shooting.
The pool was closed shortly after the shooting.
There's no word on the boy's condition at this time.
