PELL CITY, Ala. (AP) - A 24-year-old Pell City man has pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide in the death of a woman who was killed when his trailer came loose and struck her car.

Blake Alan Brown pleaded guilty Monday in the April 2007 death of 57-year-old Rosea Mae Beavers of Cropwell.

St. Clair County Assistant District Attorney Lamar Williamson said Brown's plea did not include an agreement between the state and the defendant.

The charge carries a potential prison term of up to five years.

Sentencing for Brown was set for Jan. 15.
