Birmingham Mayor Larry Langford is scheduled to flip the switch and light the city's Christmas tree. Langford was in federal court on Monday being hit with a 101 count indictment.
Langford is scheduled to throw the switch on the tree between 6pm and 6:10pm Tuesday night. The tree lighting event is set to begin at 4:45pm and run through 7pm in the city's Linn Park.
