The Jefferson County Board of Education this afternoon named Barbara Snider interim principal of Mortimer Jordan High School. Snider served as assistant principal of the school.
The board also named Aaron Jones, who currently works in the Trussville city school system, as interim assistant principal at Mortimer Jordan High School.
School starts back Aug. 13 in the county school system.
